thanks for looking out for me. i read your post a few times, looked at 20 charts at least and then the i read your post agian and a lightbulb went off.

"Upper BB on the SPX 60-minute chart is also now at 936."

that statement, my friend is HUGE. studying the intradays back to mid october (far as i have) the spx doesnt top without kissing that upper band and its usually the second kiss that sends it down. it wont happen today. it may even happen tomorrow. nothing is fixed in stone. i had already planned on waiting out fridays open to buy puts, now i have another reason to wait.

along those same lines however the ndx got its second kiss today and sox may not even get there (relative weakness-bearish).

re weekly charts: i dont see enough there to keep my shorts away for long.


today needs to close strong for the bullish case. if we pullback and close at half of todays rise, then i believe top is in.

the correct thing to do would be to wait and see what happens so i may be smart this time. basically it is too early in the day for firm plans (ggg), but i thought you would like to see the chart anyway.
