How would one do this? Certainly there are companies that can legitimately be bashed. Certainly there are honest short-traders who are entitled to their opinions. How do you differentiate between the honest traders and the dishonest ones without the "House Statistician" making a determination of which of the companies being 'bashed' are mismanaged and which are not.

....and, even if they could make that determination...would they?

Hey, if this whole idea is for entertainment purposes only...then fine. But, if some bright-ass at SI really believes that this is a legitimate tool for investors then they've lost it completely. It shouldn't be advertised that way. It is an injustice to the membership.
