Hello Jim, Personally, a Value Added Tax is my favorite. It's easy to adjust the govt's need for money with small increments and when you discount groceries and medicine, it puts the tax on personal spending where it belongs. Think of the simplification on business and the cost savings when all those business taxes aren't passed on to the consumer. They say that business shouldn't be in the business of tax collection but that's a laugh as they already are.... Take care, Lou
