I think when market trades flat like it has last few hours buyers and sellers have to be pretty evenly matched

perhaps, but most don't sell until pushed -g

exactly why the smart money with means and want to test the mettle of this market,
would start selling aggressively here and see how its absorbed, my guess would be not well
