If it was a convertible it was a 68 made my Ford.

I'd stick to the 66 or 67 Shelby made my Carol Shelby for the value.

That was my first car in high school. I had the Shelby 500. I changed the tri-power to two large Holly four barrels, put in a 321 locking rear end had the engine balanced and blue printed and added a Hurst four speed transmission. Lot of fun!!

I got 3-4 miles to the gallon. Almost went broke driving from NJ down to college in Houston. Once I ran out of gas driving to Laredo since the gas tank was not large enough to make from one gas station to the next. We can't talk about Laredo.

Fun days!!

The car burnt to the grown one day when I was showing off to a cute little girl I picked up at the beach in Spring Lake NJ where I was life guarding.

I'd give anything to be able to do that all over and over again.

Didn't make enough today for the Porsche, but maybe a nice Shelby?
