i'm ok with that, but someone needs to define imperfect. i've allowed gap up or trend, red star of white star, gap up or red-only confirmation, all of which Nison talked about. none of them work. in fact, they work better as contrary indicators, not unlike the black crows/white soldiers data revealed here recently. augie, you've (legitimately) forced others to the standard of verifiable performance, you can't exempt signals you like to use. if you can't describe it, you can't test it, and even more importantly, you can't trade it. i'm not trying to pick a fight. if there is a way to use this signal RELIABLY then damn it, i want to learn about it! that would be in the interests of all of us. imo you can never have too many arrows in your quiver. (wow, does that sentence sound reaganesque or what? -g-)
