Hmm. On a Windows sytem, ZoneAlarm can indicate any outgoing traffic. And you can set it to limit internet access to specific programs. But I think what you are seeking is a packet sniffer. NetMon, network monitor? I haven't really bothered with this on Windows machines. But on my Linux machines, tcpdump can sometimes come in verrry handy (network diagnostics etc.).
