I still have tons of that stuff bro...whittled the old album collection down to a few thousand, and they're all setup in my new shop with a killer Dual direct drive with solid Walnut base, and some old jbl studio monitors.

for me one of the most simple and satisfying pleasures has always been wanting to hear a tune...and reaching into the stack and making it happen.

One guy who is soooo heavy from back then that alot of folks don't listen to alot is ulrich roth...he blows me away to this day in fact

Fairies do still wear boots... you know<g>

Hey, I don't own Korn, but I like them. Eminem's latest 8-mile theme is pretty fantastic, lyric wise.

Van Morrison rules, Google won't translate Dylan for me, and I'm down with The Who also.

That said, I'm more of a Police, INXS, Doobie Brothers, Foo Fighters (recent) kind of person when it comes to the classics.

Beatles rule, and Hendrix, well, he's in a class by himself, IMO.

I've also got an appreciation for how Brian Wilson, Lennon and McCartney, and Dylan were pushing the envelope in the mid-60's. Hendrix was also a huge influence on that era also. Just listen to Free Form Guitar on Chicago Transit Authority and you'll see what I mean. I played it in the office once, and everyone was shocked to find out it was by Chicago. How times have changed.
