LD I am with you on the price moving up, With EWT and TA there are soooooooooooo many waves, counts, interpretations, charts, wave numbers its almost a joke. Prechter made a great call in the market years ago, but if he really knew something he wouldn't have to sell books and a letter to make a living. But he has been way wrong and I guess I have to tick off all the TA people and I may eat crow but come on we can all make a lot of things fit a pretty picture. If saddam plops something in Israel it will violate any chart. If Alan keeps printing (allowing the creation of excess credit)it will violate a chart. If our trade and budget and account balances keep going up gold will violate a chart. If the dollar falls gold will violate a chart. I have made more money than ever before the last couple of years and made great money in the market in the early 90's but exited way too early and I didn't look at that many charts and the ones I did look at were for fun and did not cause me to change a decision. We all know the sector bets are volatile and carry the most risk but someone a bit brighter than me said "If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen"! Hey everybody if every 5-10% wiggle causes too much worry get out! Because I don't believe a person here who is claiming to time these up and down wiggles. So for now I am long but have held since and before 255 Gold.In fact my best buys were on the way down. Oh well enough either we go up or down or sideways. <g> Tom
