It makes perfect sense to act now before we have another NK situation.

True. It's either trumping up patriotism for political benefit, moving in for oil or satisfying his dad. Bush's behavior really does not make sense and more folks in the world--and I think perhaps a reshaping in America--are beginning to realize this.

What you wrote is true. We see everything in Iraq. Perhaps the best source of all, our intelligence overview. And, yes, the weapons inspectors are there and likely can remain there for a very long time. So we've got all the bases covered in order to prevent anything from happening.

Even if Saddam does have something, what and how--given our oversight--is he gonna be able to do anything with it? Think. If our intelligence knows it's there, then we should have the capacity to keep it there, should we not? Or, conversely, we should be able to go in there and remove it.

The US claims its "sources" show there are WMD in Iraq. Well, if this is true, why not promptly and efficiently remove the sources from Iraq in order to protect them (if they're inside sources, i.e., people) and go get the goods (or the bad weapons, rather). If absolutely convinced the destructive weaponry exists and you know where it is, well, go get the stuff and show it off to the world. Presto: vindication. I think the reason why this isn't happening is because there's something much more sinister involved in terms of what the US really wants.
