I worked in Europe after the Bush election and 9-11. Both times got an earful of anti-Americanism. Actually had to defend Bush. Guy just rubs foreigners the wrong way. Nobody likes an arrogant oil industry imperialist.

The best example of that type of thinking was an Egyptian student saying that US is evil and it is duty of everyone to kill Americans.
