If I did get my opinion from D. Ray it would not mean it was wrong, any argument based on that idea amounts to an example of the ad-hominem falicy, but in any case my opinion about the media was formed well before I had ever seen a post from D. Ray.

The problem is that the media doesn't tell you what you want to hear. When someone in the media goes on and on about how popular and wildly charismatic Bush is, besides wanting to puke, I too believe the media is biased. Certainly, from my viewpoint, they are biased. But its true in certain circles, he is wildly popular and considered charismatic and the polls reflect that view. I don't like it but I have to live with it. I certainly don't blame the media for being the messenger.

I think the difference between you and I is that you run into this scenario more often than I do and therefore, believe the media has a biase against the tenets of conservatism. And as I have argued with D.Ray in the past, I would suggest the fault is not with the media but that conservatism is out of touch with the mainstream.

And that's why I suggested earlier that you consider why that is.
