Hey, you beat me to it--lol! Wuz just about to say good night. I enjoyed the discussion. Wish you got on board earlier. Indeed, I think I'm well past my SI posting limit--lol!

In closing, I'll simply point out that I strongly disagree with the notion of "screw 'em." I think that's been done enough in history. As far as "mucking" about in their culture, tolerance, time and education are the stronger tools, the greater key toward understanding and getting along.

Fare ye well, Jorj--goodnight to all!

And to be frank, I don't give a rat's ass about the Muslim's hatred of the U.S. They claim victim status without taking any responsibility for the situation. They don't want the US mucking about with their culture, but they sure as hell want the trade dollars to flow in and the sure as hell want the products we make and they sure as hell want the economic aid we give them. If they don't want American influence, then stop selling us oil, stop buying our goods and services and stop accepting our economic aid. Until then, they should quite their whining about being victims of the big ole bad US of A.

So, because a few privileged Middle Easterners make money off oil sales, the masses should accept the tyrranical governments imposed on them by the U.S. and the West? You sound like some sort of fascist.
