Barrick has re-openable forward contracts that allow them to benefit from an increased price. Not all forward selling companies enjoy that privilege. Many will suffer from a gold price rise. Some in fact could be in trouble. It will be interesting to see what the gold price will do to Barrick in the future. So far it has not reacted -- at least recently I understand. The people to look at are pre-producers like Wildcat Resources Ltd, and juniors with good properties. Also mid tier producers like Goldcorp should do well. EC<:-}
