When the parrot takes me for a walk to the library, I usually glance at the San Jose Mercury News. There's a Personal Technology section on Thursday and a large multi-page Fry's (large computer store) ad on Friday, that always get some of my attention. In this past Thursday's edition, a large NFL spread "caught my eye". They devoted many column inches to an all Bay Area SuperBowl. Some two thirds of the way through, they had some John Madden quotes (As an ole Raiders coach, he frequently is in the bay area). He said he thought it was a little premature to talk about a Bay Area SuperBowl because he had been in NYC the previous weekend and he had heard a lot of the same kind of talk there.
