I've really tried to figure out zonder, if you really are really combative in your face to face speech, or not....or do you just come across that way when you write?

I generally stand up for anyone who gets called names.. (though, I've been known to fling a few flamers around myself when I get particularly frustrated with certain individual's attitudes).

But I would certainly encourage us all to be "creatively discreet" in making derogatory comments.. Name calling generally is the result of not being able to convey our opinions effectively.

And if the person we're addressing still doesn't adher to logical and objective principles, one's argument is seldom enhanced by calling them names.

Besides.. that's what PMs are for... :0)
