OT. (or is it?). Morning, Doug and Terry (twilko, not Turner!). This is an example of what I tell my relatives and friends all the time. "Success is in the details".
I spotted right away that Mary and Terry just turned in some of the stock at 0.284 value, for the lower price option. They had option to pay in cash or trade for some of stock. It clearly stated that no cash traded hands. No sells occurred. So, Bloomberg set the herd racing for the exit door. Guess who didn't read the previous report? Details cost some people dearly.
A friend was surprised we had an option come up to go from 2000 tpd to 3500 tpd, before going to 11,000 tpd. When I pointed out that ge-believer had at least hinted at that possibility in a post right here on SI, in mid December, my friend was surprised. He reads SI. Or at least he thought he did. He really just races through, before he heads to WalMart to waste his time looking at all the new tools coming out. (no bad reflection on WM intended, pick your own time waster that we all have, and substitute!).
My friends are surprised that I know a whole lot of details about GE. They keep asking questions, but end up with a bigger and bigger smile with each answer. All I have done is spent endless hours reviewing and calculating. And the more I post, the more sources of information are revealed to me. Countless more hours, but at least I am retired. LOL.
Simple fact. You get out of something what you put into it. And if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Yes, I am old enough to know what Truman said! LOL.
If a voice in the wilderness hollers this company is a POS (Price of Silver, the poor guy didn't even know we had gold, not silver. LOL, and I mean really LOL), this is only one detail. But, I have overwhelming details that say this is a POH (Piece of History). Along came the Incas, along came others, and then along came Terry and the dream team. Picks and shovels first, pans and carpets next, then dredges and front end loaders, then, the well educated, experienced, cyclones, Knelsons, determination, and a never say die attitude, with a kind heart for the local people. I will be telling my grand kids about this POH for years to come.
Sorry, I can't begin to tell you what convinces me. Besides, I feel people need to do their own digging. People have to develop their own sense of well being, or lack of it, for owning a stock. You get out of something what you put into it.
People need to get informed at least enough to get themselves out of the herd. The Bloomberg report was valid, nothing wrong, as Doug says. Surely some didn't let themselves be dragged with the herd to the exit did they? Apparently they haven't reviewed the GE site, the GE unofficial site, run the Profit Model til their fingers hurt, made themselves a list of reported venero assays, starting with the Freydanck report (what the heck is that, some ask), calculate their own prediction of average of veneros and stuff in between, etc. and I mean etc. As a minimum, they need to go to the RB site, and review what Rod Steel has to say. His posts on his visit to the mine, along with others comments, got me going full tilt for more information. Rod, you are da man!
Like you, Doug and Terry, I loaded up the boat on that drop. I guessed what was causing it. Even my son e-mailed and shouted, "I bought 5,000 more shares". Another new friend e-mailed and said "got two more friends in". Why? Well, er uh, they know about the POH.
gerald P.S. Don't feel sorry for me for the countless hours. I figure I could possibly make zero cents an hour (yes, those who think I have blinders or rose colored glasses on, I do know this could crash and burn like a styrofoam cup on the camp stove. Nothing is set in stone). But, I just might be making over $1542 an hour, not bad for a retired peon engineer who is watching this POH unfold with keen, keen interest! Many thanks to all those who put up your serious money to keep us in the game. And now, our heavy hitters are coming up to bat. Of course, they could strike out. But what are the odds? Rumor has it that a recent hitting streak has their averages over 0.800. Just one homer and we win the game, the series, and will buy out a few of the other teams. Come on, Mr. Conal Subsidence pitcher, serve up that fast ball! LOL on a lazy Saturday morning. JMO, you can stay in the herd if you think that is your right. |
