The previous economic predictions from the Bush Administration certainly create no confidence in their current predictions. They have consistently over estimated economic growth and underestimated budget deficits.

Yes, there is a similarity between the mistakes of the Johnson Administration and the Bush Administration. Sooner or later, the consequences of a cut taxes and spend mentality catch up with the economy. I don't know if Bush will pay the price by 2004 but the economy will certainly pay the price by 2008.
