You would agree that the issue has to be settled by a constant standard, rather than moving it one way or the other to make points on either side...? For example, I just heard Cheney say we've experienced "growth for two years", which is like twenty other artful deceptions in his speech. If I get time this wkend I'll go through it to document those deceptions. Btw, he's certainly a persuasive speaker and administrator, but a dangerous puppeteer, refusing news conferences, running things from the Continuation White House in the Undisclosed Location, and shuttling in the new tunnel between that and the VP residence.
