They aren't taxation schemes for a start. There is nothing capitalist or Marxist about saying that some transfers to the poor might be a good idea. They're not total laissez faire Libertarian schemes but they don't contradict capitalism.

But if you argue that capital income isn't really earned only labor income is and only capital income should be taxed because it is somehow unfair to earn it instead of earning an honest living as a worker you are using the a Marxist labor theory of value. Just pointing that out...
