Very impressive list. How long have you been holding NAT? I wish I had known about that earlier.

Interesting that you hold NCN. As I have often posted, it's about my largest holding of an individual stock. NCN has a lot of disappointed followers and ex-owners but I cannot see what is wrong with it. I did diversify more into PWI recently. I probably should buy some SLB.

I have been holding NEM calls for a long time--actually more than a year at this point, and hold some of the usual other suspects in PMs: GG, TVX, PAAS (for years and years), Dundee PM fund, Greystar. Probably biggest PM holdings via Tice's funds.

I feel as if most everything I do nowadays is more speculative than it ought to be, but I think what the US government (especially the Fed) and the banking system has done to the economic behavior in the USA and to the fundamentals of the dollar, make it hard to be sure of anything. Low-interest longer term treasuries may once again turn out to be "certificates of confiscation" with rising inflation and rising interest rates.

I notice that two books I bought recently--lateste ed. of Andrew Tobias's "The Only Guide . . ." and " The Ultimate Safe Money Guide" make no mention AT ALL of gold. If investing in gold is that unthinkable, maybe its time really has come around again.
