Ted, I would like to know what cars the people producing the anti-SUV ads are driving. I'll bet they aren't gas-electric hybrids ... ;-)

Last night, Arianna Huffington, who is out in front on these ads, said she drove a 17mpg Lincoln Navigator until last year. But HERE is the funny part:

Arianna lives in a 9,000 square foot house. Norman Lear, who is the major money behind the ads, lives in a 60,000 square foot, 50 Million dollar mansion, with a 30-car garage.

These people are characteristic of the big-money liberals. "We want the 'little people' to do as we say, but by God don't include us. We want OUR private jets (which you can bet Norman Lear has at least a couple of), 50 Million dollar mansions, and SUVs, but the 'little people' need to be driving cars with 13" wheels and 4 cylinders".

It really is sickening. You have Babs telling a reporter, "I contribute massive sums of money to environmental groups", but you just wonder how often she leaves her private jet at home so she can take a ride on Southwest Airlines.

Hypocrisy, at its worst. Brought to you by the liberal party.

Reminds me of Scumbria, who held pro-environment views but owned one or two SUVs himself. He claimed he hardly drove them, though. Kind of like Clinton not inhaling, huh? <VBG>

First the religious right and now more mainstream conservatives..........and Huffington is a very rich conservative. I can't imagine she's been without a SUV all these years.

And wasn't that embarrassing about Scumbria. He had one, not two SUVs.........nonetheless one is one too many for an environmentalist. Scumbria seemed to mean well but I think he wanted very much to be acceptable at the same time. He used to complain about Paul E. all the time but when he had the chance, they became golfing buddies.

You met Scumbria.......maybe you can explain the paradox.........he's a Gemini? <g>
