First, I do not know, nor do you, what his current net worth is. Second, he could not have foreseen when he was in the middle of his career how long he would live after the Presidency, assuming he got there in the first place, or how lucrative his speaking opportunities would prove to be.

Dubya is in a pretty pickle now - UN Inspectors asking for 6 more months and N. Korea threatening WW 111, and anti American sentiment soaring worldwide. Now I wonder why? And Sharon seems to have a death wish. Could it be that peace might break out in the mid-east - not because of anything Bush is doing, but almost in spite of him and for the best reasons - internal change? What will it be like a year from now - a year is an eternity in politics. Maybe the Dems. will find an ounce or two of courage. This administration has been feeding the public circuses AKA war since 9/11. Sharon's case is a salutary one for Cheyney/Bush.
