Ted, <Either he is not intelligent like people say or he has some sort of learning disorder or a severe psychological problem that makes him acutely uncomfortable in public.>

The one thing he needs to do is learn how to come up with the right words in public. I'm sure if you joined him at his ranch for a steak dinner, he can strike up a very intelligent conversation, even with liberals like you. ;-)

In other words, he's at ease when it comes to straight one-on-one talk, but out in public, straight talk has a tendency to be exaggerated and prone to second-guessing.

<And one last thing, I don't understand his apparent popularity............its lost on me.>

Someone said that the public still believes in liberal issues, such as health care and the environment. It's just that these issues have become subordinate to the war on terrorism, and they trust Bush over the Democrats to handle that.

Care to guess who said that? You may be surprised ... ;-)

Ted Re.. I also believe he has hurt our image in the world. If you are talking about Bill's sex crazed, lets blow up some more tents, wussy style, Id say yes, Gw has hurt that image.

And one last thing, I don't understand his apparent popularity............its lost on me.

Don't worry about it. Most dems are lost nowadays.
