Put it all together and you get a bank that was handing out credit cards to anyone with a thumbprint throughout the 90's only trading 40% or so off its historical highs.
Did they really experience growth of 600% during bubble years 1997 to 2001? Is that normal for CC issuers? Most legitimate companies in any business would be ecstatic with anything over 20-25% annually. 50% would be phenomenal and tough to maintain.
Most likely nothing more than paper growth. At best, should be 20 today
