The fact is he is not a defense attorney - from what I've been told, he stutters. If he had what it takes to be a trial lawyer, he would defend whatever came his way as a public defender because someone like JLA would never be hired by a prestigious law firm.

She didn't say he is a supporter child molesters. She said he "would defend" one. You are talking about facts, she is talking about a hypothetical. She talked about defending, you talked about supporting.
