COTS, & Gold shares' rise, welcome, indeed.

Mainliners and the US exchange graduated juniors, who aren't so junior anymore or not junior enough, I guess, rose. Good way to finish the week.

HUI - PPO still falling but the Fast Stos have turned up at the 50 line and the DMI which was pinching is beginning to repulse.....amazing what a weaker dollar can do.

COTs show the commercials really stepping in the defend Silver from rising....8500 contracts added net short..up to 64K - 67% of the open interest represented by their net short position.

cftc.gov

In Gold only a 5000 increase in the net short position to 109K....Commercial net short position is 50% of the total open interest.....Public specs are not much more than 3::1 long....in the June period I think it was they got up to 5::1 short....

Silver COTs are at the point (60K+ net short) that has turned the metal back in the past.....but that may be interesting history and little help with direction.....
