Here is the biggest joke I've read in the recent times. The origination of fiat is from securitization of gold, which eventually got away from gold itself. Now, the world gold council is mulling financial instruments that securitize gold. i.e., on one hand they are opposing Fiat and at the same time, they are trying to create a "fiat baby."
