cool, I think that business for anyone involved in it is witten off for dead... a few others like this such as long haul transport, these were huge businesses in 1998 and now, somehow are "irrelevant"... I'm not buying it, I think something is still out there for fiber optic components and long haul transport just not the fraud-induced hypergrowth.

Interesting jobs report. I have a friend who is a temp admin at SAP. heheh hope no one I know is reading this. I'm pretty sure this person is incognito, she had to take the job for the medical benefits and a few personal reasons, she usually works in IT software support. Anyway large staff cuts at SAP going down. But look at their recent numbers, and all of software firming up nicely. My theory- time is right to prune agressively and get new people at lower pay/positions, lots of leftover "directors" really don't have depts anymore and these people are expensive. Kindof the "blowoff top" of layoffs happening now, since this is the last chance to make structural personnel changes before hiring begins again.
