Well, we could, but then we'd be responsible.

I got enough responsibilities than you very much. I thought getting rich meant I wouldn't have as many of them, LOL.

The drivel that comes out of their mouths after they've seen their investment brokers.

"This mutual fund is performing as well as others in its category". Uh-huh.

"We're in it for the long haul". You are now.

"He warned me about gold". Why?

"She says anyone can make claims about making money in the markets". How about the reality of your portfolio?

And on and on. I don't want the responsibility for other people any more. Let them wake up poor one day. I keep my mouth firmly shut at parties now.

Double amen... because for those of my close friends who expressed any interest at all (after I dropped some trial balloons), I did offer to help. Some of them did take me up on the offer, so I feel like I'm doing what I can.
