Thank you for your reply, russett. You are right ! I was thinking about NGX... just trying to figure why it has lagged the market so. Their hedging margin requirements are guaranteed by Brascan Financial, so it could well be Brascan Financial's strength that enables them to have similar spot deferred's to Barrick. But, Russett, if "spot deferred" does not imply the choice, what does it mean ? (I wish these mining companies would use words that mean something).
