I agree with you entirely (although I'd add to your definition of Character the caveat that the decisions are indeed good, truly public-spirited decisions).

I was sure you did. I felt you were being a little "Wonky" in your previous post. :>) Now that we have a couple of years to judge by, I feel that Bush has allowed himself to be "Roved" on Domestic Decisions, but will go with what he thinks is right on the Foreign ones, even if it costs him dearly. Mistakes may come from the same area that gives him strength, his piety.

We are dealing here with the "Inside" daily postings of what the Media and the opposition think is going on. So a lot of our posters get the "Vapors" over what Cheney, Rummy, and Wolfie are up to. But when you stand back and look at the actions of this administration instead of the rhetoric, the "Doctor Strangelove" picture disappears, and what the actions show is a strong, but cautious, approach to Foreign Affairs.
