No there YOU go again. You want a huge military, wars, highways, social security, medicare, education, health care help, emergency services, NASA, Homeland Security, FBI, CIA, EPA, IRS etc. etc., INS, Customs, State Dept, War On Drugs, Prescription Drugs, Vets benefits, courts, etc. but you tax hawks don't think any one ought to pay for them. And for some reason you protect the richest people in your arguments and policies. The very people who can afford it and have too much money in many cases. There is no free lunch, my friend. If voters want to pick some of the above to cut then fine, taxes can come down and the books stay balanced. Otherwise it's just government on credit and interest rates will remain a huge part of our national budget. I know right-wingers secretly want to gut Socialial Security, Medicare and get rid of regulators, but wait and see what happens if that ever takes place. For one thing, people have already paid in for those entitlements. So if you dont give them the services you're ripping them off. The middleclass mostly, of course, whom the GOP does not defend.
