I might add that you are correct, you did not refute the allegation. Coulter did lie on this matter, there is no doubt. She stated that the NY Times did not cover the story on the front page on the first day. The NY Times did cover the story on the front page on the first day. End of discussion.

It is noteworthy that something was printed in the NY Times a few years ago, and you believe there is "no way to confirm" it.

So, the liberals say, "Well, Couric was quoting Morris so anything is okay". Of course, this is the way liberals think -- "don't concern yourself with the facts, look for a loophole". So, as a liberal, one WOULD conclude this was appropriate behavior. But to the rest of the world, Coulter's position was precisely correct -- Couric molded the facts to support her agenda. It is okay, though, becase she is a flaming liberal.

Hmmmmmmm........a loophole? I think that's what Lott was looking for.......I guess he should have called a liberal, huh?
