Kids are either going to learn about sex from parents, in class or on the street by experience. I remember my sex education course make me feel more relaxed and natural about my sexual desires (for girls, ahem). It didn't promote sex but it did state sex plus real love is okay. Nothing wrong with that. Then the kids need to know how not to get knocked up. But the current abstinence only programs refuse to teach anything about that except that sex is bad before marrioage, will drive you nuts and kill you even if you use a condom, because condoms are unsafe. That's like telling kids marijuana supports terrorism. Maybe a righteous cause for some but using a lie to get your point across. Kids deserve better.
