lj... the point I'm making is if one thing goes up, it doesn't necessarily mean that another has to go down. Gold stocks don't necessarily have to have a negative beta in relation to other stocks. Equities don't necessarily lead commodities, and we're now seeing that with oil. We'll continue to see these types of discrepancies this year.

...and why would I mention such a small double top on the $WTIC chart? The markets are running on hope, no matter the size of the indicator. It was that double top that led me to become bullish for the month of January on a thread that was universally bearish.
