this is interesting.

on your chart it looks like the 50 went a little below 50, then turned up in 1996. in my one year chart for 1996 only, I don't see it

stockcharts.com[h,a]waclyiay[d19960110,19970110][pc9!c13!c20!d20,2!h.02,.20!c50!f][vc60][iLa4,9,5!Lh5,5!Li10,10!Lp14,3,3!Ll14!Lo14!Lb14!Le5,10,1!Lc10][J8396919,Y]&pref=G

then in your chart it looks like it gets turned back up from the 50 twice in 1999. in my one year chart it never happens

stockcharts.com[h,a]waclyiay[d19990110,19990110][pc9!c13!c20!d20,2!h.02,.20!c50!f][vc60][iLa4,9,5!Lh5,5!Li10,10!Lp14,3,3!Ll14!Lo14!Lb14!Le5,10,1!Lc10][J8396919,Y]&pref=G

either I am doing something wrong or stockcharts computes the weekly stochastics differently on one year and eight year charts
