without a doubt... i swear i did not do anything different from ALL the instructions of the network (I have a wireless network that when it works, it is like a dream... ) but don't you up set it because it turns against you. In this instance, I was trying to add a new laptop with XP opsys and the hardwired part i finally made it work, but the damned wireless part... no way it would work (and it still refuses), this leads me to believe there has to be some conflict with the XP and the Lynksys router/printer hub...

While I was at this.... all of a sudden the entire thing ceased to work (late last night)... Well... no matter what I did to re-instate connection; every single instruction/data what-have-you... I could make the computer speak to the router and hub BUT NOT TO THE RADIO (which sends the final signal on to the Internet....)

Then this AM I had to wait (while hooked up with dial-up --THE HORROR OF IT ---gggg) Anyway.... even the tech support person was speechless as to why the stupid thing would not go... then... out of nothing the system decided it would work... without doing anything different... it just started working...

THAT is not logical.... it is voodoo, supernatural, the stuff that makes you see aliens and spirits not the stuff of engineers...

I bet you Bill Gates has sold his soul (assuming he has one -gg) so he can put a spell on anything he wants...

Now I understand why I am an atheist, a computer zapped anyone above it... and we are next !

-LOL
