If you think 600B is going to the states you are crazy. ng
300B is double taxation nonsense. How do the sates get any of that? How much of that is in IRAs so that it does not matter? How much of the rest goes to people like Charles Schawb that has millions of shares paying dividends? How much of what is left after that actually goes to people that will spend it.

I am not saying it should be done but is sure is piss poor stimulus if you ask me. Furhermore over how many years is it. I say is has close to ZERO affect.

California and many other states have a HUGE problem.
Unfortunately $8B is only a start.
Where does the other $24B come from.
another $24B in taxes?
I bet state taxes, property taxes, cigarette taxes, etc, eat up 75% of any stimulus plan. The remaining $250 each household receives will not do much to stimulate the economy I am afraid.

GWB is a moron if he actually thinks his proposal will increase jobs an stimulate the economy.
