I'm drinking juice from carrots, pears, celery, apples, and oranges. Too fresh to be fermented.

Yes, I'd rule that it's legit and that DE's been hitting the wine.

Drinking in search of the Muse has a long and headachy history in poetry. I've done it a coupla times myself. :-)
