Seems a safe move. I am 50% hedged (a lot for me). Bad news being bought sounds bullish. But so many things seem to indicate signioficant up is not likely too.

You Can Hear The Hounds Barking Some seem to be trying to dig under the cage, it looks like the door had been unlocked but it doesn't seem that any are out and about yet. OTOH The dollar hit another low today. Gold almost hit a new high. Unless the dollar firms its difficult to see the market going up. Unless they stop printing its difficult to see the dollar firming up. If they stop printing its difficult to see the market going up. One of those Catch 22 things.
