Hi Dj

Re Cheney article

We are going to see more of this type of criticism of administration leaders as current policies devalue the dollar, raise interest rates and blunt efforts to stimulate the economy.

It is almost fun watching the wheels come off the "axis of evil" policy. We may end going into Iraq to save face. I feel that would signal the end of our world leadership position. Challenging the U.S. may become a political sport. CNN could try and schedule crises like ESPN does NFL football. I think China will end up playing a key role in a deal with N. Korea.

I just heard that Iran is getting involved in in some possible solution to Iraq. That would be interesting. Colin Powell must feel like a lion tamer with too many animals in the cage.

For all our sakes I hope I am being overly pessamistic.
