2002 was the best year ever for my 401k -- up about 20%. I was limited to 2 trades a month for many years, but last September they started allowing daily trading at no cost. I took full advantage and did very well in the international and emerging market funds which often follow the US market with a lag.

Another good thing about my 401k -- their money market rates are subsidized and VERY GENEROUS. Last year they paid 5.8% on fixed income with no risk. This year they are paying 5% when most money market funds are about 1%.

Anybody elese have a 401k like this?

HI Wayne,

<<The biggest shame for my company is they do not offer a PM managed fund.>>

I know what you mean. However, I am in the midst of changing employment and will have the chance to set up my own account elsewhere to roll my 401K into.

Do you (or anyone) know of good PM-managed funds that a 401K account can be rolled into?

Many thanks!
Robert
