no warning, preemptive strike. I thought about it, but we could never morally do it, John. Wipe out Millions of NK, plus the fallout to SK would kill a bunch there, and you know they would have enough left to hit SK.

Let's hope nk is not nuts.. close but not totally and we come to an agreement. I haven’t seen the program, but I noticed no mention of a possibility that NK may be bluffing – or, at least willing to compromise if faced with real pressure. If NK big boys are anything like, say, the old Soviet Politburo, they enjoy domestically enormous wealth and power… they live like gods. It is entirely possible that in the end they may prefer to go on as live gods, rather than as dead gangsters. The hardship is, of course, that we MUST be able and willing to call their bluff for real.
