Congress sees the error of its ways: Ain't this a surprise. Bill Frist has struck a deal with centrist GOP reps. to repeal 3 provisions of the Homeland Security Bill that were stuck in anonymously at the last minute: the deal exempting vaccine makers from liability, the deal allowing US corps who avoid US taxes by renting mailbox in the Bahamas to be eligible for federal contracts, and the deal that favored Texas A&M for a dept. of homeland security.
