the Grand Canyon.

I rafted it in the summer of '92. A once in a lifetime trip. You start in up at the dam and it gets deeper and deeper and deeper. A one week trip, dude ranch style.

Have to laugh...having at one time lived in the NY area, when telling folks about Seattle...many said..."hummm how close to SFO are you..." or "close to Alaska, aren't you?"... and of course, from a Bostonian's POV, where many seem to think Chicago is the Far West....Seattle, Portland, SFO and LA are all near China.
