VULTURE CAPITALISM

Baldur,

Re: Once again; what do they possibly hope to gain by destroying the U.S. economy?

The answer is simple. Bargains. In the aftermath of the speculator's destruction of the Thai baht in October, 1997 a goodly number of Class A office building projects in downtown Bangkok went into receivership. By the time the dust had settled four years later, many of the buildings that had been owned by local Thai developers had been purchased at ten cents on the dollar of construction cost by the likes of Poppy Bush's Carlyle Group.

Destroying the Thai baht for profit was just a trial run for the asset theft that is being planned for the U.S.

The boys at Carlyle, the Prometheus Group and others know that wrecking the U.S. economy can be very profitable. They've got the cash, from previous swindles, arms trade and other dubious means, and destroying asset values in order to employ this cash is a rational act to them.
