I hate to say this but with the specials I've seen and the articles I have read I would have been tempted to do the same thing in IL. Waaaaay to many well documented cases of the police manufacturing evidence and sending people to death row that they knew beyond any shadow of a doubt were innocent. When you have cops and prosecutors sending people to their death while knowing they are innocent the system is broken. There are a few cops and prosecutors down there that maybe ought to take their place IMO. Please keep in mind that I am anything but liberal and believe very strongly in the death penalty when I say this. That shit down there was out of control.
