Spek-- But isn't the zetia/zocor combo the strategy for extending Zocor's life? Won't that truly be a next gen cholestrol drug? And cozaar's label is expanding. Medco is a problem, but it contributes very little by way of EPS, and the merck products it promotes excessively are heavily disounted (I think). It has underperformed, most people have been afraid of its pipeline....I would just offer another view of its qualities as a short. I think its a high quality hold going into a Republican Medicare solution, dividend tax exclusion, slow economy. W
