If you're really interested in FC vs. iSCSI, here is a really thoughtful article:

There's been relentless hype from the networking vendors about iSCSI, but the large enterprises that have spent the last 3-4 years implementing SANs using FC are not about to rip it all out and replace it with iSCSI. Maybe after its all been depreciated :)

OTOH, CIOs are under tremendous pressure to cut IT costs, so maybe iSCSI will win over time, *if* there's a very, very compelling cost saving.

I am annoyed I gave up on beas. It was one of the ones I wanted to make sure I held through the trough no matter what. I didn't give up on vrts or brcd though.
